Day 7 (1468)

All week I thought it has been one day further in the week than it was, except today. Today I thought it was Wednesday. Go figure. At least my brain was a little less wonky today. My fourth graders and I did have a good chuckle when I kept forgetting things again, like I'd say something to them, get distracted and have to ask "did I just tell you this". They just giggled and said yes.  Good humor/ good kids.
Two friends today posted the same video of cats in adorable situations. Made me ponder the idea of a pet again. So for now I did a creature of one instead. :)

Day 6 (1467)

Odd brain / memory stuff the past 24 hours, like putting my lunch in my mailbox, feeling like I was not present in the middle of teaching a lesson for about 10 seconds...
Also, an overwhelming feeling of boredom (?) Not like I don't have stuff to do (2nd quarter grades)!
Hoping it's all post holiday whatever's.
After doing today's piece for the new blog I decided I could go on this one as well! Peace and fabulousness.

Back to school today. Wow! I was tired. I even went to bed early last night. Lol.
It was good to see the students and getting them back into creativity land. Still working on that disconnect from leaving the school environment and getting home and slipping into my own creative endeavors. Need to figure a way to decompress quicker. I'll have to add it to my list of New Year's goals. Lol they're still being formulated. Lmao! Goal one: I'll have them formulated by tomorrow. Peace and fabulousness.

Sunday funday.  Last day of Christmas break.  :'(   lol

Day 2 (1463)

A Saturday that feels like Sunday.  A good friend stopped by which so nice.  Finished a pen and ink piece that was experimental and turned out ok. 
Coffee and new calendars.
Started another new art piece.
Also ruminated on my new year's goals.  Tomorrow they should become clear. Yay!

Happy 2016!!!!!!!  Going to continue on with my creature blog. I feel like I'm more stuck lately to come up with creatures but I will continue on until it feels right to stop.  Thank you to those who are on this odd journey. Lol.
