Really tired of being hot.  Started on one piece but realized it will take more time.  So in the mood I am, did a different piece.

Rough, rough, rough day. Simple pen and ink sums it up. Peace and fabulousness .

Day 241: Green

Getting warm and with basically no a/c in my classroom nor car, wasn't feeling the by the  time I got home. Did accomplish a lot at work... Recycling tons of old files while filing new deas.. Liberating. Did a simple pen and ink. Realising too my photos on here of the pieces not so good so will be redoing them soon. Peace and fabulousness .

Tuesdays are going even more busy than last year!  1 additional class and breakfast duty.... But the students awesome so that will help.

Day 239: Green

First day of school went very smoothly! Tomorrow will be a true test since it's my biggest class load.
Went to the gym, mowed the lawn, and then my garden hose became swiss C'est cheese, wet t-shirt shredded and giant spider scared the *#@*# out of me....
Breath.   
Today's pieces is a paper cutflower.  The flower was from post-its.

Today I gave my pieces to the CSArt investors.  It was so nice to have my art going to such awesome people. 
I did a paper cut piece...It's an odd piece but it's green .  :)
Tomorrow is the first day of school .

Feeling a bit blue today. Decided to hit the State Fair. Fun, distracting, tastey type day but at times brutally aware Iwas there ...alone.
Today revisited sad frog.  Did it in a  different paper cut sort of way.

Day 236: Green

Final day in the classroom getting ready for the first day of school .  I think I'm ready.  
Yesterday searched the fair displays for  student ribbon winners.  1 2nd place winner, 1 3rd place winner and 6 honorable mention winners. I was hoping for more but I am so proud of my students.  I'm realizing I need to find frames and matting materials. All the premium and blue place winners were framed and or matted.

I did another pen and ink today.  Trying to get as much done as possible in my classroom so I can leave a little bit early today to go to the Minnesota State Fair. I I entered 60 student art pieces in for the competition and I'm really nervous to see who got ribbons or not. Peace and fabulousness.

I I'm getting the projects done each day but have been forgetting to do a blog posting d'oh!   Oh well it is that time of year for us teachers.... So much to do, but as of now I feel like I'm on track to be ready for the first day of school which is Monday !!!!
So during today's 3 hour staff meeting I was moved to do today's pen and ink.

Did a simple pen and ink during parent registration today.  Kind of frustrating during this, sitting in our community room knowing Ihave so much to do in my classroom.  But you do what you because you need to do it  tee hee hee.

Today I found the app for my blog which makes as adding photo to each days post so much easier because Ican do itall from my phone, the text and photos.   So awesome!
Im still a bit tired from the whole food poisoning thing and a bit bummed to have missed several of my weekend plans. C'est la vie.

I kept it real simple today. I got a bit of food poisoning last night from an orange of all things! Won't be going back to that restaurant again anytime again soon!

Busy day ... Parent family registration into the evening . Wanted to get an interesting piece done ....alas just a simple pen and ink.
Myfriends from Resonate Live Marketing brought me a huge donation art things for my classroom like clay and yarn. So cool !peaceand fabulousness !

First day back to work, with a retreat (long meeting) in Farmington. So today's piece takes place throughout the morning, a dot her and there and wah lah! Today's green project! Peace and fabulousness.

Enjoying my final 2days off . Did a mini plant painting . A shout out to Lynn today for giving me great info on cameras. Learned a lot and had fun playing with her awesome camera. Makes my dieing camera pitifully sad. Lol peace and fabulousness.

I volunteer once a month to run the lyrics computer program at church . Today I did and ink in between services bitter sweet day since it's pastor JJs last day. I will so miss good his realness and wickedly awesome sense of humor . Good luck to you sir. Also prepped 60 art pieces to enter into the state fair tomorrow. Peace and fabulousness .

Today I did a small acrylic piece. Where these ideas of odd creatures and dots come from I do not know. What I do know is I kind of am liking it. I also did small flowers on a small canvas. Peace and fabulousness .

What started out as a simple picture of a cat staring at me from the house next door, became today's piece. I did pictures from the yard. Tried to go at it from a more artistic way. Peace and fabulousness.

Today was a day of everything. Ireally didn't feel like doing a piece but then this pen and ink critter poppedup witha dottedbackground. Hmmmm not sure where this came from. Peace and fabulousness .

Great day at the gym and at the Uptown Art Fair. So much inspiration yet after the gym and the trip home the ideas and images and motivation have faded. Today I did a paper flower type piece. Also trying to learn patience . Peace and fabulouss

Had a really nice day today in Rochester. And thanks to my friend Barb I got to explore the city and surrounding areas. Due to travelling,I kept it simple tonight. I did a paper cut of green tea. Actually thought of a few other ideas while driving. Hopefully I remember them all! Peace and fabulousness

I had a great afternoon roaming downton. I did a little window shopping along with a little real shopping, ate some great food from a food truck and best of all bought a new phone! Today's piece is entitled peas in a pod. Although the peas don't seem that cozy. Piece and fabulousness.

Did a simple piece with paper today. I have no clue what these little guys are. But I thought they were kinda fun! Had a great day having coffee with a friend and dinner with a friend... just overall a wonderful day ! P
