Last day of 2013. What a year! Invisible and numb. Probably the most stressful year I've encountered in a long long time. Hoping that next year is a year of dreams and possibilities come true. In spite of not feeling the best today was a day of my OCD cleaning and preparing for the new year. The house is in order and ready to go. Will this blog continue? Tune in tomorrow and see. What a delightful day of 48 degrees, even though I felt under the weather. Tomorrow will be 50 degrees colder...oh joy. Hoping for some serious sleep tonight and to feel better tomorrow.

Off day. Forgot the main ingredient for my pot luck dish (good thing I had a donut for lunch), students were off the wall (most of them), breakfast duty solo, staid longer at school than planned, etc..., Tgif tomorrow.

Wow! The more I work to catch up at school the further behind I feel like I'm getting, at least I'm almost done with shopping! Hurray! I can't complain, my classes were actually wonderful today, an answer to prayer.

Friday afternoon I can hear your sweet call. So close and yet so far. Lots of sleepy loud students today. Backdrops disassembled and stored away for another year. The Christmas Program is like Thanksgiving dinner so much planning and prep for a meal that's over so quickly, but oh so good.

Snow, snow and more snow. Our Christmas Program was amazing!! Our students under the direction of my friend Stephanie Isola demonstrate so much talent. The families were on their feet.

After a half day at school home for the holiday. So tired, I was almost asleep when I realized I didn't do a project today! So I kept it really simple. Yikes!

Ling Tuesdaythat was a Friday! Yoop. Up later than I should be since I still have school tomorrow. But I want to get as much done on these back drops as I can I'm getting so close. 15/18th finished. Oh yay!

Holy Monday Batman! Today's piece just happened in the same manner as yesterdays.

Sunday. Trying to get these backdrops done. Had to take a mini break and do a bit of cleaning. CMA's are providing an amazing soundtrack to paint to. Really want to create for myself. Muse always speaks loudest when I'm creating for others. Visions of moving are reappearing. Focus, focus, focus. Sigh.

The end of the day/Friday finally is here! I'm glad I left work when I did. A huge accident happened a block from my house at about the time I normally would come home.
Even though I enjoy painting the backdrops so I decided to make an appointment for a massage after all is said and done, kind of a carrot to dangle in front of me.
