Trip to the ZOO with students stressfully successful....body sore, soul tired. Silently and tearfully grateful for a 3 day weekend.

Rough, rough, REALLY rough day. I REALLY dislike my summer job, today.  Thank God for a new tomorrow.

So glad my power finally came back on! Didn't realize how dependant I am on electricity! Spent over half an hour on the road at 4:30 am trying to recharge my phone.  Keeping it simple, tired of the stress.

Friday! Another long week ended.  Peaceful night ended with a mad crazy storm, worse one I've experienced in this house.  Finishes today's creature by flashlight.  Just grateful no damage to house, just to garden and BBQ grill.

It didn't realize how tired I was until midway thru the church service today.Very. Very. Very. Tired.

What a great day! Spent it with my parents prepping, decorating and visiting.  Then the party started!  We totally surprised my sister! It was awesome. I think that was the most people I've had in my house.
So today's piece is really small and simple. Did it quickly at the end of the night.

So glad all the students made it and back from field trips today.  11 coolers too.  I'm so so so so tired and sore.

This is just brutal.... The day just feels like a blur.  So many kids, so much paper work, so many ends to maintain .   If I had the time I'd be exhausted.  Atleast I'm dropping weight.
It is all good and I'm trying to find moments to connect with the students during the day. 
Also so grateful for competent and awesome teachers.

Much better day at S.L.A.M.   Only gashed my knee, had 2 kids go to the wrong place after school and the rest is a busy blur.

First day of Summer S.L.A.M .What a crazy full day. Lunch went better than I thought. But dismissal was a nightmare! Messed up 4 kids home transportation, feel so bad. Nothing worse than causing parents that kind of worry.. Hope it goes better tomorrow.

Trying to chill today since tomorrow start Summer S.L.A.M..  150 kids registered! Our biggest year ever.  Whew! Are we ready? I sure hope so.

Interesting day.  If today is any indication this summer will be interesting in this neighborhood. And loud. 
There were several highlights.  Talking to family, got a card and giftcard from someone anonymously in the mail today.  Did a lot of planting today as well. 
Need to remind myself of the good and not dwell on the negative around me.  Counting blessing.

Friday off, saddened heart that has holes like a sieve.  Tired of being walled in by all of the areas of my life, a sink hole, no direction, maybe time to move on... Done.

Last teacher day and party, so kept it simple.  This day which could have been fun and awesome was marred by ones' powertrip and a mass undercurrent of negativity.  Also saddened by those who talk about vs to.  Oh well.
