My alarm thought it was Sunday and didn't go off this am.  Luckily I woke up at 6:20 trying to figure out if it was actually Sunday and managed to make it to work on time.  The day just went on from there with the student's being off. The. Wall!
Must be preHalloween energy.?!.?!
Speaking of energy, another evening of massive energy surges accompanied by huge clumsiness.  Not sure of what's going on.

What a beautiful fall day! I spent most if it cleaning up the yard.  The backyard actually looks almost summery again! Did realize my to do list for the next 6 weeks is huge! I don't want to but I may have to start simplifying some of my creatures.  If I get into my uber organizational mode, I should be fine.

Sigh.  A beautiful send off for my uncle Phil today.  It really captured who he was. I so was honored to be a pallbearer. I also learned the past few days to listen and follow the still small voice.  I once again experienced the generous nature of my parents and saw the raw beauty of my uncles as they mourned.
Even though living alone has many perks, days like today isn't one of them.  a house can feel so quiet getting ready for a funeral, so empty and alone. Oh well.

Tired.  Finished the memorial boards for my uncle's wake, Inspite the meltdown last night. Realizing how detached I've become...
It was nice to spend some time with my cousins before everyone else arrived at the wake.
I'm not sure where tonight's piece came from, maybe from sleepiness.

What a rushed day, a noisy day and a hyper day. Kids were off the wall!  One great thing, I dropped a large container of wooden beads. The kindergarteners helped picked them up.  So sweet!!
Almost didn't get the piece done today due to working on my uncle's memory boards.  Well worth it.

After a sleeplittle night and almost over sleeping due to not resetting my alarm, today went well...other than one of the second grades.  They were so hyped up! Nothing brought them down...good gravy.
Love when plans go well, like after school when having to visit 2 dmv's before my back cracker appt.  Got it done with another 2 errands to spare! Sweet!
Tomorrow will be interesting, goodbye gardens. Frost predicted for tonight

Heavy hearted today.  My uncle Phil lost his 2 month battle with cancer. He was the oldest of 12 and father of 2 awesome people.  They inspired me so incredibly as the sat by his side daily  through the whole ordeal.  You and smile will be greatly missed. RIP

6 months ago planned for a trip to Vegas to see and meet my all time favorite group, whom I've been following for decades. The Pet Shop Boys.  So charming in person! They have been and are the soundtrack to my life and they just keep getting better.  Such a thrill and the best concert!  Vegas was awesome, but its time to be home and get stuff done. 
Glad I listened to mom and finally took a mini vacation.
