Wow! Made it a third year of being creative every day. Wasn't sure if I was going to continue onto to a fourth year but after a dream blast night, I've decided to continue on!
Thank you all who check out my simple pieces throughout the year. It truely means a lot to me and is one of the reasons I shall continue.  I'm going to explain the direction I'll be taking tomorrow.
Spent the day in my new year's eve ritual of cleaning and such.
Sincerely hoping 2015 brings change.  I'm tired of suppressing me in all areas of my life.  Feel like I live as a shadow. Invisible.  Numb.

A lot of 2014 loose ends tied up today.  Most of the house is as it should be.  Ocd + perfectionism is over rated.

Odd day of sorts.  Woke up at 3:50 am. Though managed a quick nap before alarm went off.  In that nap decided to proceed another year in this blog.
Couldn't find newspaper, because deliverer tossed it so hard missed the steps, broke security sign and buried itself in the snow.  Etc....
Good news though jaw almost pain free!

From green/brown to white overnight. Saw the sun and this new fluffy snow: wonderful. It was also nice to see a few neighbors as well.

Great Sunday! Started by truely helping someone feel welcomed, got to visit with 2 of my favorite people, bought some  gorgeous vintage glasses from Retro Solstice (check them out!), watched one of my favorites Sound of Music ( always makes me a puddle) and today's piece was inspired by my favorite feline Tippy!

My sister and I hit the shopping early by gassing up with coffee first.  So much fun and found a lot of great gifts for our folks AND managed to get it all done before the insane crowds! I always think shopping is fun but it's even more enjoyable shopping  with my sister.

Today my adorable and cute nieces turn 2 years old. As you can see they are the inspiration behind today's piece. Also sat through an amazingly wonderful concert. Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant Christmas concert with a full orchestra. It was amazing!

I'm. So. Tired. Hitting the wall yesterday ,waking up sick last night followed by massive dream overload at 20 - 30 min intervals 'till dawn... Followed by teaching.  Beat. Simply beat.

I had planned to spend most of the day vegging out but ended up catching up on a lot of the home stuff, greeting at church, got my tree up and the last of the decorations up, four loads of laundry,etc... Peace and fabulousness.

Today again feels like Friday lol. The sets are down though I decided to display them in the hallway but transporting them across an icy parking lot was a little bit more challenging. At one point I physically couldn't move because of the wind.
So glad the weekend is coming soon. And tomorrow is the first official day of art club.
Find it so interesting that the pieces I struggle the most with are ones that the people like the most and the ones I think are awesome barely get a nod.
Just gotta figure that out. Lol.

Another school Christmas program goes down in the history books as a success. Great job Ms. Isola who does amazing work with our students, and who happens to be this month's Teacher of the Month! Congrats!

Almost done with the Christmas program sets, by tomorrow it should be finished! Thank God.  Knees sound like gravel, back and shoulders like boulders.  Can't wait to have the house back to normal. Lack of sleep and appetite is getting old too.

pushed it hard again on painting the backdrop sets. I think I'm close to being at 90% done. Did get outside and enjoy some of this lovely weather. Almost ended up with some kittens. Thus today's inspired piece. Hoping to sleep tonight unlike last night with my body being so sore.  I think I need a live in masseuse. Lol.

Today's piece is how I feel after painting backdrop sets all day. At least 98% of the canvases have paint on them. Now I just have to do another coat or two on about 35% of it. Time for a hot shower and a good night's sleep.

Ugghhhh! Today's piece says it all. Highlight: 1 awesome class and a student who came to me to help him repair something special of his that was busted. And then there was the rest of the day, which included one student trying everything from screaming, mocking me, etc to get kicked out of my room for 45 minutes.  I won.
