Ah Sunday! It was a day of whittling down my to do list, tackling a task I have not been looking forward to and a day of catching up on some reading. I think my to do list at work is much much bigger but thanks to being organized, it should get done, unless a shiny object or squirrel passes by then all bets are off!  :)

It was a very productive Saturday. Completed many errands, cleaning, planning, packing, .... Trying hard to stay in the present not the future.

An exciting Friday evening of eye doctor appointments, grading, lesson planning, etc.. But I am so glad it is Friday! Woop woop! Hoping to get a lot done this weekend because early next week I have even more to do. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

To do list is finally starting to look like it's getting done. Although at the same time its getting bigger, especially the grading.  Got my eBay package in the mail and it awesome! Oh! Happy Spring! As I was taking the first graders to lunch (via outside)I told them that it was now officially spring! Many broke out into dance, a true expression of Spring!

Spent most of the day shopping! Love it!!! It's fun when you have gift money and gift certificates use!
The afternoon consisted of the past colliding with the present, leaving me feeling quite anxious and unsettled, like a caged lion.  Not sure where this will lead.

Another successful student exchange day with Holy Name of Jesus school. Their 1st through 3rd graders came to us and our 4th through 6th graders went to them. Today I did beading necklaces with over 260 students divided into six different groups. It went as well as expected. Grateful for the gift of being organized. But I am so grateful the weekend is here.
The now what's sometimes can be a silent and isolating place.

Oi! This week feels crazy long.  TGIF it's tomorrow even though it'll be a major crazy day.  Should be an interesting day considering I had no say in it. C'est la vie. Not going to comment any further.

A long but enjoyable day. I helped chaperone 4th through 8th graders at the waterpark of America. They seem to have so much fun which was awesome to see.

The negativity is getting beyond icky and the things people are doing without regard for others is frustrating.  But like I tell my students, going to worry about myself and be gracious with others.

Wow! I can't believe I have been doing this for eight hundred days in a row!
Today was gorgeous out! Went outside with the chair and read a book in the Sun listening to the birds and listening to the water drip of the eaves. Simply beautiful.
So tired. Between the time change and forgetting to take my sleep aid last night, I barely got much sleep.
Thank you Spring for finally showing your beautiful face!

Sunday Funday. Great day with beautiful temps in the 40's I got everything done for Fridays Big Student Exchange day. Very productive Sunday despite the loss of an hour of sleep!

Happy Saturday! Came to big decision today and feel confident it's the right one. 
The sun felt soooo wonderful!

My parents are so awesome.  They told me of their exploits in the snow today and all I could do is laugh with delight. Those crazy kids!

Doing the happy dance. Happy Friday everyone! A great day of teaching and getting a lot done, stayed way later at work tgan planned.  But I am so glad it is the weekend. Very tired but content.

A fun day of teaching. I was so tired too. And a little dizzy, but not sure why. Also not sure where this creature came from. She's a bit odd but oh well, especially the scrawny legs.

A wonderful balmy 24 degrees today. Good felt so unbelievably nice out. I hate bringing up weather so much but after this winter every little warm up is so beautiful.
Students must be feeling it too. They seem to be in pretty good spirits. Even my most challenging kids had a little twinkle in the eye today. 
Teaching is definitely a marathon job.
