First of all, thank you to all those who have dedicated their lives to keep our country safe and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, sacrificing their own life. thank you! It was an interesting day with mother raccoons and their babies, cats who were very busy trying to be intimate and the normal hubbub of the city. Back tomorrow to work. Should be interesting 80 degrees and no air conditioning in my classroom. Just going to have to make the best of it.

I got so much incredibly done today, both at school and at home. Finally mowed. My classes were actually pretty fun today. Just grateful it's still cool enough for my classroom, since this new one doesn't have air conditioning. Peace and fabulousness.

A beautiful and fun day today. Took a long walk, went to Stanley's beer and bacon fest, where I ran into a friend I haven't seen in a long time, which was a lot of fun too. Can't wait to get into the gardens tomorrow.
