Another day of trying new things and seeing a few old friends and tasting some fun new foods.
It was a fun weekend seeing people I miss.  As the weekend progressed the deeper the sadness progressed.  I realized how unme I've had to be.  Can't be me at work, the neighborhood, with family, basically any where ....
Also a level of loneliness.  I know where ever I go I'm there, but maybe It's time to take me elsewhere.

A bittersweet day on so many levels just grateful the blessings far outweighed the sad and concern. One such blessing was a great car ride with my sister and my wanting to be held by me. At the request of someone I hold dear, I'm not posting much on here, but individually I can share more.

Very productive day! Between all the rain this morning and this evening, I decided to just stay home and get stuff done around the house. That included cleaning and organizing the attic and basement and in between showers weeding and mulching the gardens. Peace and fabulousness.

In spite of a nother stupid headache, today was pretty awesome. Got to hear some good music and see some fun art at the stone arch bridge festival.

Nothing like a rainy windy chilly day and later a thunder with major lightning type day!  Had to change many plans. But got a lot of stuff done in the house and now motivated to start my next 2 goals for the summer. Peace and fabulousness.

I'm still feeling the post Cher concert glow!
Today's piece is inspired by the group of about 15 3 to 14 year olds that were running and playing through everybody's yard. I finally went out when I watched the four year old pulling up flowers out of my front gardens and the 3 year old started peeing in the street. The little ones brother was quite respectful, and simply said they had no place to go. So I'm guessing that mom kicked them out of the house for awhile today. Our neighborhoods need more things for kids to do in the summer, especially this little group.

What an interesting first day off. This day was filled with lots of high points and some really low points with very little in between.  If today is any indication of what the summer will be like..... Well I'm not so sure what to think.

Last day in the classroom! The room is clean, packed away and ready for next year! I am so excited to be done!
My car is being odd. The first day of break will be at the car repair shop.
Doctors are giving my grandmother only about 10 more hours to live if that. Such a bummer. Although she is 90 years old and has lived a full life, I'm most grateful she brought my mom into the world.

Last day with students!!! It was a brutal day they pushed every limit they could but in the end we all triumphed!  So all that's left is tomorrow's all school picnic and teacher day on Monday.! Peace and fabulousness.

Whew! Last Tuesday of the school year ended in the typical Tuesday fashion.  So much left to do.

Stufffffy classroom and some really noisy classes. Actually had a great (final) class with my 6#1 class. I think it sunk in with some of the ones that crab about art realized this is their final in class as I don't have art with our 7th and 8th grade.
