For a Monday, I can't complain.  Best part was putting a few more spaces of the garden to bed for winter. So much more to do...
Starting to get the art club applications in.  Fun to see what they answer, especially what they think they can bring and what they want to do.

Happy Friday! What a bittersweet good day. We went on our fundraising walk with the students today. Beautiful day! I got to hang with the 5th graders on the first half and on the way back I got to get to know one of our fourth graders who was having a little problem with the walk. And then one of my 6th graders came in and told me it was his last day today. Great kid, really artistic and unique. Sad to see him go.  Also I got to meet a neighbor tonight.

What a odd day of extremes. Rollercoaster-ish with a side of freak show. In the midst of it all, I may have the opportunity to meet Tim Gunn, which would make it so worthwhile! Just gotta look over the budget a bit.

A great day away from school, even though I kept thinking it was Saturday. Spent some time going through stuff in the process of downsizing. Came across some old t-shirts from 10 years ago and can't believe how much I weighed back then. Even after loosing this last 10 pounds it feels wild to remember what I weighed. Day 288 (1019)

A full day of parent teacher conferences. They all went really well, except the one that didn't show up lol. I mixed in quite a few positive ones because I love to see the expression on parents faces.  I can't imagine being a parent and having to go to conferences, especially if your child is struggling in any way. Cheers to all you parents out there.
Couldn't believe all the police activity in a sauce on my way home afterwards. It was crazy.

The highlight of today has to be painting with kindergarteners. It was also very nice spring day oops I mean fall,  you can see where my mind is.
Met with a group of people whose lives seem so far removed from mine. Interesting.

Monday has become last year's Tuesday. So bummed I wore a short sleeve shirt to school today since my classroom was once again very very cold. It actually felt warmer outside than in my classroom.
Right now it feels like certain parts of my life are either going twelve steps back, two steps forward, totally stopped or have fallen in a very deep hole. Hoping to get some answers and/or direction soon.

Good gravy can't believe this was such a long week! But at least I ended it with two out of 3 great classes. I also stayed late to get some stuff done. I feel like I'm almost getting caught up after jamageddon.
