Working on one of two ongoing projects that needs to be done in 2 weeks.  Hit a glitch today. Ugh.

Happy Friday! Highlight of the day was telling the students that won a ribbon at the State Fair they won! The look on their face was priceless and worth all the effort.

Well hopefully I have enough set up for the first day of of school (considering what I couldn't set up due to construction and cleaning over the weekend) They are so lucky I am uber organized and fast. I did set up the art room in one evening two years ago enough so the kids that have issues with change were not affected.  I do have some things to finish over the weekend.

Getting it done.  Though I feel like my lungs are full of dust.  Wish I could take all the rain from the day and flush it through my classroom.

An unproductive productive day.
I did get all the student's art pieces to the mn state fair.  An hour and a half process of focus.
Came home broke my key in the garage door, bag of shredded cheese spilt across the kitchen, a solicitor rapidly working through the neighborhood and some critter clipped off all the peppers in the garden all within 45 minutes.

All the student's art work prepped and ready to be entered tomorrow in the Minnesota State Fair. Over 90 pieces once again. So exciting!
Spent most of the day hanging out with three of my favorite people in the world. Chatting,  catching up and talking about life stuff.  Love my Golden Girls! Needed this so bad.

Multiple runs to Michael's to frames on sale for students' state fair entries.  Trying to get them all prepped for Monday's enty day.

Registration was plentiful tonight. So many returning students and new families. Huge kindergarten! So cute to see their excitement (despite being placed in the hottest part of the process).
New info on room set up... Employer is SO lucky I'm organized and flexible. =-O Feel like another piece fell into place.

Odd day.  Nothing more surreal than being caught in the middle of some one else's rage/drama while helping someone else in that fearful moment feel safe. Just grateful He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.

Sorry for all those who were hoping for a sunny day, but I loved today's rain.  Opened the windows and worked on several of the over a dozen art pieces I have in process.  Two are finally almost complete!

Social day after a week of solo road tripping.  Coffee with Pastor Dave and lunch with my aunt Eleanor. Very enjoyable.
