Day 91 (1552)

Went and saw a great documentary type movie in theater about Leonardo da Vinci.  So inspiring and motivational.  Too much too type need to process.

Day 90 (1551)

Rainy day which was nice. Started getting back into the creative groove today, kinda. Local news was distracting, predictable  and left more questions than answers.
On a lighter note got my music from England today! 😍

Another beautiful  day in the gardens,trying to clean them out before the rain.   Love seeing all the returning growth.

After a busy day at the gym, in the gardens, volunteering and spring cleaning, keeping  it simple.  Plus I finally got some Peeps!

A great day visiting with family that included watching two three year old son as they played with stickers in very creative way. Love!

Whew! Day off and I got a lot done! The gym, spring cleaned the bedroom, bathroom,  living room... though my mind is in accomplish mode my mind is saying slow down and chill.  Probably why I slid down the basement stairs after trip number 22 to do laundry.  Ouch.

Day 84 (1545)

Got so much done today and am now ready for Spring Break! Celebrating  by going to bed early! Lol.  Had a night full of obnoxious  dreams of misbehaving students and unruly staff meetings.

Day 83 (1544)

Loud day, but overall good.  I could tell the storm system and full moon were taking the toll on some of the students.
It was fun to see one former student who is now in 8th grade, interact and help a kindergartener find an Easter egg in my room. It was a side of him I've never seen and it was great to watch.
Also the chatty 4th graders didn't make it to Art club today so it was fun interacting with the other ones that get kinda talked over by them. One even stsrted opening up a little bit more.

3rd quarter grades are done! Whoop Whoop! Now all I have to do is finished Artsonia pictures and uploads, lesson plan, teach, art club and clean up my classroom! 😂

Day 81 (1542)

I can tell that the full moon is coming Wednesday. Crazy Monday. Feels like the more I get done the less I got done. Also had a small fight in my classroom and another kid playfully throwing stuff off my desk and putting paper in my Monster can. Only 3 days till spring break. Peace and fabulousness.

Day 80 (1541)

I so wish that tomorrow started spring break. Have so much to think about since the trip to Chicago. Feeling a little discombobulated too. But the grades are due! 4 days, four days, four days. Peace and fabulousness.

Day 79 (1540)

I learned so much got so much inspiration in Chicago the past several days. I love that City, but its good to be home. Most of what I gained there I'm hoping to try in the classroom next year while laying some ground work for it the rest of this year. We shall see. Minneapolis I'm home! Peace and fabulousness.

One of those days that felt like four separate days all combined into one. But all went well and was a bit of an adventure. So I can't complain. Feeling blessed. Unfortunately today's creature is a bit so-so. It was started and worked on at various points of these four days in one. and it's been awhile since I worked with himpen and ink in this manner. Oh well.

I love Saturdays especially Saturdays in 70 degree weather! Got some yard work done, the little that could be done. Also some cleaning. And some reflecting. Peace and fabulousness.

A great Friday especially with my two competitive 6th grade classes. They're in a competition and both came up with a wonderful idea of getting points by staying quiet as a class for long periods of time. Loved it. LOL. Beautiful weather just a nasty headache though. Day 70 (1531)

Core Knowledge Social Studies Night is tonight or as I refer to it as the Student Art Show night!  Even though I had less space and hanging restrictions this year, I managed to cram a lot of great student art into the space!!!
So between the set up and the event , I made today's creature.  It doesn't look right but oh week.  Sorry.    You'd think in an art room I'd have a great pair of scissors and art pens

, but apparently not.

Wow! Today went by in a blur of activity. I barely remember it. Mostly awesome classes, art club and prepping for tomorrow night's social-studies art night. Peace and fabulous news.

Sorry to talk about the weather but 70 degrees! Come on! Awesome! Those sun rays felt so good, but when it started to cool off it cooled off fast. Another good day in the classroom. Not letting Thursdays art / social studies night thing stress me out. What goes up goes up. Its all good, chill. Peace and fabulousness.

For a Monday, it wasn't too bad. Good classes and a lot of complished. And 60 degrees! I'm trying not to get used to this but  I'm going to enjoy it while its here. Peace and fabulousness.

It was so nice today to sit outside in the sunshine and read a book. 60 degrees in March. I could seriously get used to this. Here's to hopefully the last of the crazy weeks. Hoping for a good one!

Hello. It's me. Friday. What another busy fun day and Friday! Have a lot to try to accomplish this weekend, but I also need to rest. How does that happen.? Lol. Today's piece totally didn't work out on the bottom half. But the turtle's hair was inspired by the music Circle of Dust released today. Yay! Love Klayton!
