What a lovely sunny afternoon! Great day with the students, came home started my switching up the areas in my house that just are not working. It's those little things that you see day in and day out, that make you think I should move that, put it away, switch it around, etc.. that add little bits of stress. It is so freeing to take care of it and later when you walk by it, it's a bit liberating.
Today's piece, I just made. Started by cutting out the shorts (longing for Spring) and it just went from there.

Day 64 (429)
Nothing like 9" of snow, 2/3 of it having to be shovelled very early in the morning. Seeing so much new snow first thing in the morning, well let's just say it felt like a small balloon inside quickly deflated. Actually made it to work on time. Very frustrating when almost all the other metro schools (except for 3 districts) declared a snow day. :( oh well, you just make the most of it and create a paper snowman that sums it all up.

A wonderful Sunday. We had a send off for the now former Senior pastor of our church. His passionate way of preaching will be missed. Also got to the library and found some fun new books!
Took a lot of left over pieces and made this dragon type creature.

Day 61 (426)
Beautiful sunny days, got my taxes done, ran at the gym and made 2 pieces....had a moment of panic when I thought forgot to do one yesterday, but then I remembered. Whew!
The mouse is the front of a card I made for Pastor Dwight who is retiring from the pulpit. He speaks with great passion, heart and care. I wish him the best in his next endeavor.

So glad to be done with this week.. need a couple days to regroup and be away from work. Next week Ill post pictures of the 2 projects I finished....actually I'll post one now:).
I so did another set of eyes for my creature...It's how I've been feeling.
