First day back in the classroom. I got so much done I felt great! I feel really far along. Also had a visit from my friend John who donated a massive amount of school supplies for our students. He's with Resonate Live Marketing. These guys are great. I'm so grateful for their generosity. Also had three awesome conversation today as well. But now I'm tired! Peace and fabulousness.
First day back to school, our annual staff retreat. This year was very good, and I feel so optimistic and excited for this new school year. Tomorrow we get to work and set up for classrooms which is always fun to do. Peace and fabulousness.
What a beautiful summer day. It was a bit sad today, as people mourn the death of Robin Williams. I think it especially causes pause to those of us who have fought up against depression throughout our lives. My hope is this sad loss will open lines of conversation about this topic that many avoid or feel unsure of how to discuss. To anyone in the midst of the struggle, you are not alone and you are loved.

Spent the majority of the day getting projects ready, done by my students, for the State Fair and bringing them to complete the registration process: 66 total projects registered. The total process to do all this took from start to finish well over 10 hours. Fingers crossed we get a bunch of ribbon again this year. I don't know who gets more excited the students or me.

A busy yet fulfilling day. I got to meet some new people and that was rather fun. Also spent more time getting student art pieces ready for the State Fair. I hope we have a lot of winners again this year. It should be interesting.

Having to keep it simple today. I have to get the State Fair student entries prepped and have the skyline music festival tonight. I can't wait!

All good things must come to an end. Another beautiful sunrise. I definitely need to spend more time here throughout the year. Even though it's hard to leave reality must be. Attempting not to go online, etc... as much since I've gotten home. Trying to bring that peace into my home.
