Took a sick day at work today and just slept in. After not getting much sleep all weekend while housesitting and now a cold, decided it was probably a wise idea. Glad I did. 12 hours I slept!
Growing up, we weren't raised to lay around when you were sick. We still had to get up, do any chores or what have you. Laying around in bed all day was not an option and is still not for me. It is an option, but one I chose not to take.
Did a odd creature today, blaming it on the head cold. : )
