Drama filled day and night. High schoolers broke into the abandoned house next door to throw a party. They first approached me during the afternoon to try to get me not to call the police for the party. After he tried to persuade me, bribe me, accusing me of racial profiling, and then a mild threat, and me telling them repeatedly I would be calling the police if they trespassed on the property, they still decided to throw a party. 40 some kids later my neighbor and I did call the police. You should have seen them run. Grateful that the police did show up promptly (five cars) and then boarded up most of the windows on  that house. Hoping this house next door somehow gets resolved soon. Peace and fabulousness.

Had a nice evening tonight with some friends I haven't seen in quite a while. We did Dining Out For Life at Were. It was really nice with great food. I think things are starting to brew again at the abandoned house next door going to have to keep my eye on it. Didn't get much restful sleep last night. Peace and fabulousness.

Happy Easter! Had a wonderful church service this morning, came home made deviled eggs for the first time, than off to a wonderful afternoon and evening with some really great friends many of whom I haven't seen in awhile with good food and drinks! Was a great way to spend Easter!

Nothing like a Friday off. Although it really felt a lot like Saturday. Got a lot done where I create my pieces. A little reorganizing, cleaning, put up some art and sold some books.  Hopefully, it'll be a more freeing space.

Haircut, yard work, boiled eggs, chat with my sis and made bacon successfully for the first time!  Topped off the day with Absolutely Fabulous.

Errands and such before the stupid big snowfall heads in.  Blah!! Trying to remind myself that they are predicting 60 degree weather next week. Watching this snow fall from the sky and hearing the amounts they are predicting, so not easy. Peace and fabulousness

Nothing like a good night's sleep after 42 hours of no sleep. A beautiful day gym time + before the snow comes back in huge amounts. No need to talk about that!

Did not sleep at all on the flight. Left at 11 o'clock last night and got back to Minneapolis at 830 this morning, after a layover in Detroit. So tired! Spent some time getting back to what I like to do for art projects and incorporated it into my creature project tonight. Good to be home even though it was snowing! Yuck!

Another beautiful day in San Diego! Got to go to the zoo and some more great workshops and now heading out on a red eye flight to Detroit and back home.  it's been beautifully, wonderfully warm, but it'll be good to be home. Keeping it simple again since I'm on the road.
