I am home from a 2114 mile road trip around the Midwest. Visited so many pieces of art both indoor and outdoor. Saw the American Gothic house, roamed the cities of Iowa City St Louis and Kansas City, play tourist by visiting the Gateway Arch and Forest Park. It was interesting to take in different communities. And came home tonight. Which was a bit bittersweet. It was nice to see the garden full of blooms and yet this is the first trip I've been on where it wasn't great to be home.
