Plans to see my folks this weekend derailed.  Mom still feeling sick.  Hate having her sick. 🙁

Day of 181 (1642)

Home Depot must have had corporate visitors yesterday because there were so many people trying to offer me assistance. Today, 3 visits  to ghost town except the woman in the appliance section. 
The house next door is finally taken over by the city.  It gets mowed and such more than my lawn! Love.  Just need to get the renters  (?) on the other side to realize what a no dumping sign means.  And taking the sign down isn't the solution.

Another beautiful Sumner day.  Got some unexpected yet hoped for news. Yay
May be taking a break from the blog (!!!!) in July.  July is going to be so busy, but after 4 1/2 of never missing day. I don't know.

A mellow day after a good weekend.   I haven't gone out on a since Sunday for ever. So good to see and hang out with some awesome people of have truly missed.  Fun!

Wow.  It felt like everything came together today.  Tried to try do some new things (1 failed but I learned from it and excited to try to figure out how to make it work.) I felt like a kid in the Family Circus.  Hopefully this continues!

Rainy thundery day... love them.  it also matched the essence of my overall mood.    A night of mundane repetitive dreams.  Ran at the gym and worked on another project hoping that'll end that. Tired of hatred and organized bullying.

Began the slip into the pools of creativity.  Skipped the gym to give the forearms time stop hurting, avoided time and the interwebs for a large part of the day, did some research and started a new project and made progress on one from last fall.

So much sadness today. In the midst of all this sadness so much hatred as well. Just don't get so much.

Oh boy! Tackled the basement.  It was like a hoarders paradise.  But it is done and organized so I can tackle the to-do piles, the explore piles and the let's have fun piles.  So freeing and liberating.   Plus I found some old cds and had fun dancing along the way.  Think it may be time early fall to have an Absolute Fabulous party.

My body has been yelling at me all day (while at the gym, mowing, gardening...) and my brains been like whatever.  Going to get back on a schedule, power clean and organize the cluster f of stuff in my basement from school tomorrow  then start to switch over to the creative side of brain.  May take saturday to do nothing..... right!!! Lol!  Basement looks like an episode of hoarders!

Great 1st day of break though my body still is on school time. 
Visited the Minnesota History Center (had to see the Chuck Jones exhibit) finally ate at Mickey's Diner and now THE Cure! This should set the tone for the summer. Today's creature inspiration should obvious.  😀

Good bye school year 2015/2016.  It was a pretty good year and much transition.  Next year will be like a whole new year in so many areas. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.  Hello summer!

The last day with my school computer so I spent many hours entering student data to the State Fair (such a long process) and uploading the last of the last of student art work pictures on Artsonia  (packed a list with about 100 of their names somewhere and hopefully will find it soon!)

So tired yet had huge aspirations to get all that stuff I brought home organized and neatly stored and do some serious cleaning. A little happened, kind of.
Saw lots of awesome people I haven't seen in a while at the garage sale circuit this morning.  So awesome.  Even got a replacement easel! Thanks Mark! Hopefully you enjoys today's creature.

Pooped but classroom packed.  At last count well over 140 boxes.

Up way too early again, the gym, packing with the help of 3 great helpers and finally got the main flower boxes fill.
I can see the packing end in sight.  Hoping I'll only need 3 hours to wrap it up tomorrow then I can finish everything else! 😁

Day 153 (1614)

Last day for students.  missed the all school picnic for only the 2nd time.  Both times due to moving.  Major packing accomplished.
Several highlights. Announcing the chosen pieces for the state fair.  Was greeted with huge hug and no words from a kindergartener who had some rough times this year.  After he confided in me a piece of sadness in his life, i really worked on boosting him up.  Usually just get a little wave from him, so this was a huge surprise. 
Ended the school day with almost the same way with an awkward side hug from a 6th grader and no words.  This one I worked really hard boosting her self image as an artist by being her biggest cheerleader. She went from I can't, I'm not to hey I am pretty good.  so proud of her.
It was a good year and that was just the sprinkles on the cupcake.
