Overall pretty great day for a Monday! Even the frigid temps we're not too bad. Today's piece was inspired by some drawings I had found from 2 years ago. I had the opportunity to go sketch at the San Diego Zoo with an artist who does drawings for star wars and museums in the area of dinosaurs. One of the things I sketched was a rhino. Very similar to one you see in today's piece (minus the boots) And oddly enough there was also some of giraffes, like yesterday's.
While going through some of these old drawings, I also came across some other older things. Things that brought certain things to mind. Things that mentally have been pushing aside. It was the only real downfall of the day. So yay.
